Here we have a new piece of work from an up and comer out of Ireland that goes by the name of Cinema. Following his big release with acclaimed artist collective/label, ‘Future Factory’, Cinema brings his debut album to light with A Night Train To Budapest. The album features five brand new original singles from the young musician and does a great job at showcasing his production skills and creative abilities. Our three favorite tracks from the album would have to be ‘Time Traveler’, ‘Night Train’, and ‘Always.’ All three hold a very different feel than the other yet still carry that familiar melodic groove that Cinema has come to find with every release.
‘Time Traveler’ entices the ears early on with it’s soft guitar riffs, playful synths, and bongo heavy percussion. This is definitely the track that we would expect to be the lead single on the album after hearing all five. ‘Night Train’ is another one that we were really feeling off the album. This downtempo record starts off with some rather euphoric guitar chords leading into peaceful keys and dreamy synths. After nearly three minutes we are finally hit with some classic drum sounds and percussion work and the ‘Night Train’ journey continues on.
The last track we are going to touch on briefly is the single ‘Always’, which is another beautiful cosmic creation that leads into a blissful 8 minute voyage……that is all we are going to say about ‘Always.’ We really encourage every reader to sit back, relax, and listen to the whole album from start to finish.
